CoaData 3000 analyzer Appliances such as refrigerators, centrifuges, and other motorized appliances should NOT be on the same circuit with CoaCalc, CoaData, Accustasis or other computerized equipment. We suggest that this analyzer be connected to a surge protected electrical circuit or a UPS device, to protect it’s sensitive electrical components. Check each measuring well with a clean cuvette & stir bar to see if the measuring well stir motor is working. This is done by having the instrument on and warmed up, press reset to clear the display. Slide the spring loaded cover back to expose the measuring well. Place the cuvette into the measuring well, the timer for that channel should begin to count up and the mixer in the bottom of the cuvette should be spinning. If this did not occur contact us. If your results are inconsistent the optics may
have become contaminated by fluids being pipetted directly into an empty
measuring well without a cuvette in place. Turn off the
analyzer. The measuring well optics must be clean. DO NOT
spray any liquids onto or into the analyzer. Never use acetone, alcohol
or any petroleum based products to clean this piece of equipment. If your analyzer will not reset the right channel digits or if the display is slow responding this is likely to indicate a problem with the built in printer. The software in the analyzer resets the left channel, transmits data to the printer, then resets the right channel. If the software does not get a response from the printer basically saying the job was completed then the reset of the right channel does not happen. A quick fix is to TURN OFF the analyzer remove the top cover and disconnect the printer, both channels will function properly, but you cannot print results, you will have to write them down. Or you can send your unit to us for repair, please see rates and contact us before you send in the analyzer. Please see service options for service charges. Back to trouble shooting index. |
